HeavyTruckParts.NET Experiences Rapid Growth

HeavyTruckParts.Net is one of the fastest growing parts locating services.

Traffic on HeavyTruckParts.Net has increased more than 10 fold since July. Since the HeavyTruckParts.Net Magazine and electronic marketing have been implemented, HeavyTruckParts.Net has seen even more growth.

In a recent three week period, the HeavyTruckParts.Net website increased its dollar worth of matched inventory over 50%. The week of September 28th to October 5th had approximately $273,000 worth of matched part requests. Two weeks later, the total approximated value of matched parts from October 13th to October 21st was over $420,000.

These numbers reflect only the top five searched for items, not every search on the site. Of these top five searches, only searches that resulted in matches were used to determine the amount of possible sales. This means that potentially every part that was matched could have also been purchased. If that happened then HeavyTruckParts.Net helped to sell $422,488.60 worth of parts in one week!

If HeavyTruckParts.Net continues at this rate, we project that over $25 million in parts will be searched for, located, and potentially sold in the next 12 months.

These numbers will continue to grow as more heavy truck yards upload inventory to HeavyTruckParts.Net and more people use the site as their parts locator service.

Traffic Explosion!
HeavyTruckParts.Net Bursts Onto Locating Scene

ISoft Data Systems' HeavyTruckParts.Net has seen a massive increase in web traffic.

In July, the first issue of HeavyTruckParts.Net Magazine was distributed. In the following months, electronic marketing was also implemented. Since these two marketing mediums have been used, the traffic on HeavyTruckParts.Net has skyrocketed. From an average of 50 pages viewed per day in July it quadrupled to 205 pages per day in September. These numbers more than doubled again in October. By October 23, HeavyTruckParts.Net was averaging 584 page views per day with 20,000 total page views for the month.

Number of page views isn't the only number growing on HeavyTruckParts.Net. Every day HeavyTruckParts.Net recieves at least one request from a user who wants to place their inventory on the site.

ISoft Data Systems President, Matthew Wegener, says that accurate numbers are important to the company. "We've utilized the page views as our standard of measurement because it more accurately expresses total site usage and activity by users," Wegener said. "Anyone can tell you they got 300,000 hits per month but how many hits made up just one page?"

ISoft also strives to keep HeavyTruckParts.Net user friendly. "We've gone to great lengths to minimize the number of pages and clicks a user must navigate to find what they are looking for," Wegener said.

Electronic marketing is one of the tools ISoft Data Systems uses to attract new users to HeavyTruckParts.Net. Wegener stresses that continued electronic marketing is just as important as previously implemented marketing tactics. The HeavyTruckParts.Net website can be found by doing a search for "heavy truck parts" on all major search engines including MSN, Google, Yahoo, and AOL. "We've invested heavily in augmenting our rankings on search engines and have had great results," Wegener said. "Now our goal has shifted to maintaining a top five placement in these search engines as well as keeping the HeavyTruckParts.Net brand in front of truck repairers, trucking companies and owner operators." The company is doing this through the HeavyTruckParts.Net Magazine.

The HeavyTruckParts.Net Magazine is distributed quarterly to over 10,000 body shops, heavy truck owners and medium and heavy duty salvage yards throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.
